This training will walk you through the first step to applying for federal grants. It will show how to create an account and register an organization on SAM.gov, as well as how to secure a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). It is a requirement to have a UEI before an organization can apply for federal funding.

First, this training will cover the basic terminology and websites used to register an organization and why they are necessary. In the "How To" lesson, we walk through the steps of creating an account on SAM.gov. In the final lesson, we cover information regarding following up on your UEI application.
